As posted by the poker room manager at the venetian on this 2+2 Venetian NAPT thread

Anyway, here it is, all the info regarding the upcoming Venetian DSE/NAPT Event.

First, here are some quick links to the new DSE schedule…

http://www.napt.com/tournaments/venetian/

…and structure…

http://www.napt.com/tournaments/structure/

So, you’ll notice that the ME will be $5,000 instead of $2,500 and will be on the 20th instead of 23rd. It will be a 5-day event. The final table will be televised on a major network, with the 1st four days having floating cameras catching some of the earlier action.

There will only be ONE day 1 and the starting stack is 30,000.

There are freeroll satellites for this event, see Pokerstars.net for further details.

At the Venetian, we will be running 1 and 2 table satellites starting on January 28th. Specifically, we are scheduling a 2-table satellite every night at 8pm and whenever we get a list of enough interested.

Feb 19th are supersatellites: 12:00pm $220 plus $200 rebuys for first 3 levels
4:00pm $220 plus $200 rebuys for first 3 levels
8:00pm $540 no rebuys

Starting chips for the $200′s will be 3,000 with 2,000 chips/rebuy.
Starting chips for the $500 will be 5,000.

Poker rates are still available. You need to reference group code CP02L1 (that’s a zero before the 2) when you book your room. This will qualify you for a rate of $119 wkdy and $159 wknd as long as you play, at least, one event (or average of 6 hours/day of cash games). A $15 resort fee will be added to all reservations. The resort fee entitles you to free internet access, newspaper, local and 800 phone calls, and access to the gym.

We will still be doing our ‘Best Overall Player’ award. Half of one percent will be held out of the prize pools for this award, with the top 4 players receiving 40, 30, 20, and 10% of the money collected.

We will continue our normal 7pm $120 tournament throughout this event, with the exception of February 19th.

Also reminder that there is a $700 25 seat guaranteed satellite on POker Stars on Sunday Jan 17 at 6pm est. Other daily satellites include $33rs, once in a while $11rs (both are 3x turbos), and step 6 sng satellites.

The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is a new poker tour from the creation of PokerStars. Official annoucement was made Jan 6, 2010 that this is a definate go. 4 stops have been annouced so far with the NAPT starting off with the 2010 PCA. Now the NAPT Season 2 has officially been announced so the tour has survived the first season and moved on to a new one, though so far only 3 stops have survived the cut. There is good insider information that the NAPT is still very interested in securing stops in Canada and are in talks right now. Other than the NAPT here are the other poker stars sponsored events:

Latin America Poker Tour (LAPT)

European Poker Tour (EPT)

Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT)

Australia and New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT)

Italian Poker Tour (IPT)

PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA)

Schedule

The following information is subject to change. Keep a look out for more events being announced soon.

Event

Date (Main Event)

Venue

Buy-In

PCA

January 8-14, 2011

Atlantis, Bahamas

$10,000 + 300

NAPT Mohegan Sun

April 9-13, 2011

Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, CT

NAPT Los Angeles

March 5-10, 2011

The Bike, Los Angeles, CA

$4,700 + 300

Right now the only way to satellite into NAPT events is through Poker Stars

They are holding satellites giving away $5,500 prize packages which can be used for North American Poker Tour events. Also passport money may also be possibly used for NAPT packages, for SuperNova players.
