Fallsview Poker Classic Satellites
Well turns out satellites for the Fallsview Poker Classic 2010 are already running. As of right now the FPC is neither a CPT (Canadian Poker Tour) or a NAPT (North American Poker Tour) event. Here is the satellite schedule running now at Niagara Fallsview Casino. All steps are daily except step 3 which is on the weekend only.
Step A:
- $120 (100+20), 16.7% rake.
- Only one winner, seat to $1,000 event.
- Only 1500 chips & only 10-minute blinds
Step 1:
- $90 (70+20), 22.2% rake!
- Final two players win seat to Step 2.
- 1500 chips & 10-minute blinds.
- Even a satellite king who can win 1 out of every 4 Step 1s would lose money because the rake is so high. Unfortunately, it will be the most in demand as gamboolers don’t care about it being the worst satellite.
Step 2:
- $350 (315+35), 10% rake.
- Final three players each win seat to $1,050 Step 3 satellite.
- Only 5-minute longer blinds (15) and only same 1500 chips.
Step 3:
- $1,050 (1000+50), 4.8% rake.
- 1st place wins $5,500 seat, 2nd & 3rd place win $2,500 seat.
- 2000 chips & 15-minute blinds.
- Saturday & Sunday only; all other satellites are daily.
